Notice from BUK SUG: No summer courses for graduates

The Bayero University Kano Students Council regrets to inform postgraduate students that after a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor and further deliberations at the University Senate, it has been decided that this year there will be no summer courses offered to fresh graduate students.

During
our discussions, we urged the university authorities to offer summer courses for postgraduate students who need to complete bridge courses.

However, the senate concluded that the implementation of summer courses last year was a one-off measure implemented in response to the recent increase in the cost of living and the increase in admission fees due to inflation.

The
senate recently formally announced that the university will not be offering summer courses this year. The decision was taken by the university administration. Please look into it accordingly. Thanks!
